Yes the game would have to be developed to take advantage this.  Nintendo already has a title that they are finishing that will use this technology.  The developers are often the hold up when it comes to using new technology because they have to deviate from their past techniques and learn to adapt to the new technology.  Basically thats the  reason why the ps3 and 360 have similar graphics with a lot of time the same titles having better graphics on the 360 even though the PS3 is the more powerful console.
