What is the great alternative to ND today?

I don't see it.  As JoeB states, all of their programs compete at a high level in BE play.

They will be playing 3 home & home series with BE football teams.  This certainly helps those BE programs and consequently, the entire league.

Suggest a viable alternative or just hush.

I'm sure that Tranghese, Carparelli & Marinatto are dialing Mazza at this very moment.

big east has no alternative

big east isnt lacking for teams in non football sports

big east is in drivers seat but they dont know it

you're on drugs smazza.

first, if the big televen has been unsuccessful in getting ND to join a football conference, how in the world do you expect the BE - which ND would consider a less prestigious home than the BigTeleven?

second -ultimatum?  that is a joke - there is no ultimatum to deliver as the catholic schools would not go for it and dont care if ND is in the FB conference.

third - whether you want to admit it or not, ND is name recognition in other sports and does indeed bring a lot to the table for the BE.

Nah, they just kept the BCS connection when everyone predicted it would be lost.

Don't expect others to be as great as you.  ;)

Tell them to get on board, fully, and demand compliance.  The BE just might be "big" enough to get this done w/in a few years.
