that would be pretty hilarious... they would have to beat out boston and either texas or oakland.

Its possible, hell, they could even win the west ouright.  I don't think either will happen though.

My whole life I have heard fans of NYY argue with Bosox fans.  It's as exciting and interesting as watching 2 rich guys argue over a $20 tab.

if you  remember right... NY yankees didn't go to the playoffs once from 81 - 93 or 94 (might have been 92)
