Question about our Defence & Offence?

Hello all

My wife and I sit in the South Endzone and I have noticed that our defence does not change very much. This observation has taken place over the past few games. Please forgive me if I am wrong.

1) Does USF play a man cover 2 defence???

2) If our defence does not change very much doesn't the advantage go over to the other team?

3) Is it just me or do we not blitz very much??

On Offence

After the Cincy game my wife asked me "where are the trick plays like we did last year"?

Please don't think I am pointing fingers just asking questions.

1. The only time I can remember running a Cover 2 is WVU. I could be wrong, but that is the last time that I personally remember.

2. No, we barely change up anything.

3. After watching the last 3 games, I have thought the exact same thing. We almost never blitz. Which is one reason why Selvie has been slowed down in his sacks. We rarely ever get pressure on the QB and this would really help to slow down the run.

If I read your diagram correctly, yeah, it looks like man-under Tampa  ;D (cover) 2 defending a spread.
