do yourself a favor... just lay low until the storm passes. the whole college football world watched that game... half hoping usf would win for an excuse to yell "see.. playoff" ... the other half hoping usf would lose so they could say "told ya they didnt deserve #2"

the old powerhouses are what they are... arrogant and feel "entitled". nothing will change that. USF had a chance to get football 20 years ago... we dropped the ball (we were offered a stadium courtesy of the buschs too)

we finally got football and its going to take another 5-10 years to get any assemblance of respect. i still say that we can make a national title run within the next decade... but we need consitancy... and frankly better pr (stop bragging about gallagher being an alumni! if thats our best alum, then say nothing. its like saying "hey... carrot top got a degree here"... its not impressing anyone

get better commercials, get better pr, shore up the baccalaureate facilities (including desks and chairs that have not been used since the 60s in cooper).... usf wants to get away from tier 3 commuter school and be taken seriously? well then do something about it. sure we have great cancer research... and right now thats what we are looking like... that cute commuter school that spent all its money on grad programs

complaining about the commercials was pretty much just one of those things that people complained about because the team was winning. now we can complain about the team.

Hopefully the media will take it easy on us.  We had a chance and we blew it.  End of story.

Now rankings do not matter and we have to win the Big East.

Well when we win the Big East, one of the nations strongest conferences hopefully we will be matched up against a strong team and can shut the media up once again.

The media is the ultimate bandwagon, and when they jump on a bandwagon they usually crush it. USC was unbeatable in 2005, but the media started calling them the best team ever and it was them not Texas that defeated USC. I am happy the media never completely warmed up to us actually.
