boy, Smith looked amazing for that one drive. unfortunately, UCF didn't use him much after that. sucks for them!

That's what happens when your D can't stop a team. They stop rushing.  UCF had to keep up with our offense and Smith's role faded like the glitter of the Knight fans as they scurried out of the stadium.

While Smith definitely had talent running in that one drive in the first quarter, I think most of that success was attributable to UCF's line blowing our D-Line out of the way. When your CBs are the first making contact your facing better blocking. We adjusted well though.

I thought the D was more than ready to handle Smith.

They made WV's Pat White and Steve Slaton, the supposed Heisman candidates, look like freshmans and they did the same with him.

Once they shut him down, UCF had nobody else to go to, and they actually took him out of the game for a while.

Also, the Bulls had NO turnovers and it really showed.

It the last 5 games they had ton of them and they still won. Imagine what they could do without any?

Well, 64-12 says it all and what better team to do it against than UCF.
