This probably doesn't have anything to do with it... but I chuckled the last time I watched UCF's weekly football show... at the end of the show it says something like "brought to you in part by Suntrust - the official bank of UCF." Don't know why it makes me chuckle, but it does.

Noticed last night the lights on the Suntrust building were all white.  Could it be that Suntrust is based in Orlando?

I wonder what the life of the gels are.  They're being exposed to a strong direct heat source for an overnight period, and then exposed to winds during the day.  They may just have a short life...

I doubt it ... they probably only just recently got around to swapping it back. It would have been nice if they left the Bulls colors up through the rest of our season, but I'm just happy we were able to get them to do it as long as they did. No complaints here!
