Illinois' fans wore....ORANGE.

What's the "main" color of their home uniforms?....BLUE

....I WONDER why they would wear such a BRIGHT color even though it isn't the MAIN color of their uniform.

Oh yeah, probably because orange sticks out more than blue. Just like gold sticks out more than forest green.

Illini helmets are orange, and I've always seen them wear orange more than blue.  I don't consider blue the "main" color for Illinois.

Of course, who cares?

Im making a jab at the people who keep saying "wear green no gold" even though gold stands out more.

The same way their helmets are orange, ours are gold. The same way their jerseys are blue ours are green....hence the "main" color

I think we need to be more concerned with the #5 team losing than the color of someone's headgear!
