WTF! I rarely comment on the Barry threads.  This one happen to have a poll.  I selected, "Other".  Since I did, I was asked to explain.  I gave my explanation.

But, since it seems to bother you that much, I'll try not to make any comments about him in the future.

Good point - because baseball has been tainted for a while now, it has gone away from being America's pass time and turned into a sport where the biggest news is who signs the fattest contract or what new allegations of steroids crop up. The stats of today's players are meaningless in the context of baseball history. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed following the superstars of the sport like I used to.

I dont give two craps what you post on but you are always negative, it seems, of the posts on this particular board. You seem to cry about boston threads and barry threads and whatever else the majority of this board discusses.  It seems odd to me that if these type threads bother you, why you would continue to read and respond.

First, I said nothing negative on this thread.  I said I didn't care (again, in response to the poll question).  I don't like or dislike Barry.

Secondly, I made one poll about the constant discussion over a few of the subjects here.  I was trying to be funny.

Third, I don't read a large majority of the posts of Barry, or Yankees/Redsox if the titles clearly state that is what they are.  This one had a number, since I don't care about Barry either way, I didn't realize it was his batting average.  I answered the poll.

Finally, I do make a choice on most of the polls.  If not for anyother reason than to see the results.

my paper had them listed as 7.5 back.  Red Sox first in wild card right now.  Playing Orioles who have killed sox this year.

If the red sox team that played the yanks shows up, they will sweep...

but if the same team shows up from prior orioles games... so much for momentum.
