MAYOR IORIO DECLARES FRIDAY GREEN & GOLD DAY

City to Hoist Banner to Support USF Football Team

WHO:            Mayor Pam Iorio, City of Tampa

                    Doug Woolard, University of South Florida Athletic Director

                    University of South Florida Supporters

WHAT:          Mayor Pam Iorio has declared Friday, September 28, 2007 Green and Gold Day in the City of Tampa.  The mayor, Doug Woolard and a herd of fans will be on hand to hoist a banner on the side of the Tampa Municipal Office Building in support of the USF Bulls as they prepare to go head-to-head with West Virginia. The mayor is encouraging all fans to show their Bull pride by wearing USF gear or school colors on Friday.

WHEN:          Friday, September 28, 2007,  10 a.m.
