But it was the American League that slugged away, slamming three homers and winning, 9-4, as it continued its recent domination of the All-Star Game.And because This One Counts -- to borrow the sales pitch -- some of the individuals responsible for the AL victory will benefit in October, now that their league has won homefield advantage for the second year in a row.
