I actually met with a couple of other development officers yesterday to discuss doing an event in the Ft. Myers/Naples area as part of the Verizon Around the Horns tour next year.  Planning to make a trip down there in the next month or so meet with people interested in helping us.  If you wouldn't mind, shoot me an email at soncrant@admin.usf.edu if you would like to meet with me to discuss further.  Thanks.

There are tons of USF Alumni down there.. Moved from Ft Myers a few years ago.

SSpiro, There may be tons of alums but the Alumni Chapter is not very active.  If you know anyone wanting to help in getting the chapter active please let me know.

im from ft myers but now live in tampa.

I am a current student living in Naples and know a decent amount of alumni from USF... try taking out an add in the News Press/Naples Daily News and see what happens from there... Have an informal meeting, kinda like a meet-n-greet.
