Wins against Cal or ND will sound a lot better than they really are which will all lead to an exaggerated ranking. Good defense is hard to find in the Pac-10.when was last time big east team beat a pac 10 on the road?Well, it was in Cardinal Stadium, but the last PAC10 team Louisville played was Oregon State two years ago. The final score was 63-27, so I'm fairly confident the Cards would have beaten them in Corvallis.

A Healthy Ben Olsen- The better of the passers they have and he was hurt for a large portion of their seasonAn Overrated PAC-10- The Pac 10 is always overrated at the start of every season (except for USC) and always has a school or 2 that are way overrated and catch an early L like Cal last yearThe National Media get a a ***** every time a traditional power thats in a down cycle shows any sign of starting to come back around. Most of their tougher games are at home with the exception of USC (who they beat last year). Remember, they also should have won last year at ND. They dominated the game, and ND made one great play to save it at the end. They win that game and they are 8-4 going into the bowl game. I don't see why they can't finish 9-3 or even 10-2 with this schedule.09/01/07 at Stanford Stanford, CA 12:30 p.m. PT 09/08/07 vs. BYU Rose Bowl 3:30 p.m. PT 09/15/07 at Utah Salt Lake City, UT 2:00 p.m. PT 09/22/07 vs. Washington Rose Bowl TBA 09/29/07 at Oregon State Corvallis, OR TBA 10/06/07 vs. Notre Dame Rose Bowl 5:00 p.m. PT 10/20/07 vs. Cal Rose Bowl TBA 10/27/07 at Washington State Pullman, WA 3:30 p.m. PT 11/03/07 at Arizona Tucson, AZ 12:30 p.m. PT 11/10/07 vs. Arizona State Rose Bowl TBA 11/24/07 vs. Oregon Rose Bowl 12:30 or 3:30/4:30 PT 12/01/07 at USC Los Angeles, CA 1:30 p.m. PT ucla plays stanford and usf plays stamfordi wish usf played such an exciting scheduleNo, they play ELAM. Stanford was dismal last year by the way.
