Very nice. How has the response been so far?

Does your wife recruit cheerleaders or just has open tryouts each year?  Are any on schollies?

Just announced it so no response so far.  The HS coaches she has talked to seem really excited about it.

She doesn't really recruit.  It's a part time basis.  Mostly open tryouts and they have very limited scholarship money.  She bases who receives the scholarship money based on several factors.  She usually has about $6000 each year for scholarships and has 40 cheerleaders so not everyone gets something.

But we've started a coaches club for those that want to support cheerleading in the hopes that we can increase the scholarship pool for cheerleading.  As you can imagine, this hasn't been high on our list with all of our other needs.  But we're trying to help.

Also there are still a few cheerleaders who have not raised the 500 bucks necessary to cheer at the upcoming football games. So, any little bit of money that could be raised would really help.
