Sosa blasted his 600th homerun of his career against his former team. Up next for the 600th club, Griffey Jr.

His 600th homerun was vs. a team he has never homered against before in his past.

If Barry Bonds gets an * we can put one right next to Sammy and his 600 as well.

1 for the roids

1 for the cork

and one for pretending to no know any english when he was before congress.

Sosa is one of the two muchachos that saved beisbol. They investigated and couldn't find any other bats that were tampered with. Even in his epoca he was never a huge guy. He has homered of 32 teams, and in something close to 45 different ballparks. Only haters dislike Slammin Sammy. Furthermore, he is from one of my favorite ports Santo Domingo, just another reason he is a great guy.

I hope Ken Griffey Jr. sticks around for a couple more seasons so that can break Sosa's HR count.

"The Kid" is the best 'natural' power hitter in recent history. If he wasn't hurt all the time, we would already be a head of Sosa and possibly knocking on the door of 650.

Tonight, Jr. returns to Seattle for the first time since his depature in '99 (?) where he'll be commemorated.

Oh, and go back to ECU, creep.

Agreed, and i'd go further and say he'd be past 700 already.  He was on a tear when he was injured.

He would have easily beaten out Ruth, and Aaron, and Bonds.

Arod will likely blow all of them out of the water if he stays healthy too.

Would love to see Arod break that record. I still have the Seattle Times newspaper from A-rods first report.

There wouldnt be a baseball team in Seattle today if it werent for Ken Griffey Jr.

If healthy, could have been one of the best.
