they are playing decent ball right now and have the makings of a halfway decent rotation. Zambrano could be pretty darn good. Hendrickson is a kid that I think will be in MLB for a long time, Waechter has nice tools, Brazelton has a MLB arm and hopefully has some confidence now.  Halama has been awesome out of the pen and could be a quality starter.  I like to see them be competitive at least.  Would be a huge year if the could finish anywhere but the basement.

dont forget that potentially their best pitcher isnt even with the club officially yet (as far as i know).  They just drafted a stud out of Rice, Jeff Niemenan or Neiman (something like that).  He is a big guy 6' 6+ and some have said that he could be called up by the end of this year if he signs quickly!
