Just Picked Up Athlon and Lindy's...

I swung by Borders in Brandon and picked up the Southeastern Editions (didnt see any Eastern versions).

Both had really good things to say. We were ranked #31 in Athlon and Grothe was listed as one of five Top Underrated Players.  I'd say the article is pretty accurate, although maybe not giving us quite enough credit. They've got us losing to Auburn, WVU, Rutgers, and Louisville (chicken-#$#@ predictions if you ask me).  I was actually glad to see that they didn't make too big of a deal about Mike Ford.  Excited as I am, the hype makes me nervous because he IS a Freshman...

Lindy's was a little nicer. They have us at 26, and have Grothe as the #12 QB in the country and our DB corps is ranked #10 in the country! Unfortunately, still has Big East ranked last among BCS conferences

Good reads overall. I recommend picking them up. Sneak peaks at Auburn too of course

I got Lindy's last night. What I really like about these mags - is that it means that we're about 3 months from Kick-Off !

It's opinions and slight insight of the teams ... gives a good broad stroke. But it is good to get better "respect" from these mags. Highest preseason "ranking" we've ever had. 2007 will be our break-out year for national presence.

Go BULLS !!!
