ND lost Game 1 of their DH against Louisville today, 3-1.  This helps USF for that ever important 5th seed for the BE Tourney.

Sanford seems to be well suited for being a starter judging from today and his start against Ga Tech.

8-2 USF, bottom of the 9th.   Sanford had 13 strikeouts in 7 innings.  Cleveland went in for relief, two hits, now Q going in to close.

Whoa, Cleveland and then Q to close??  Talk about a makeshift bullpen.  I figured Q would pitch the Tuesday game against Stetson.  Maybe use Yuri on Tuesday, if Delaney has a quality start tomorrow??

Final score 8-2, USF wins.   Sanford pitches 7 innings, with 1 H, 13 SOs, and 2 BB.   Quevedo closed, and will be available for relief tomorrow.  Delaney will start tomorrow.

Wow, talk about shaking things up. I have no idea how good Seton Hall is, but its nice to win again and get some confidence and move up a little before the BIG EAST tourney.

Wow, great job by Shawn Sanford!  Way to go Bulls!  These are all huge games for tournament seeding.  

By the way, ND and UL are tied at 2 in the fourth inning of Game 2.
