And definitely the OJ fiasco in some form (what will the moment be? The verdict? That slow-speed chase in the white Bronco?)

I don't see JoePa passing the Bear, because he's since been passed by Bowden, not to mention that Eddie Robinson held the record all along. I think a more likely candidate for the list would be Eddie Robinson's retirement.

I think Barry Bonds being born should be one of the greatest sports moments of all time...

followed by the first time he took a step... and his first bite of solid food...  and his first time driving a car....

and of course his first needle ;)

Okay, we have enough Barry Bonds moments I think. Let's stay on topic here.

Besides, to baseball historians, important things only happen in New York and Boston. Any home run from any other city that doesn't win a pennant or break an Aaron/Maris record rates slightly behind Bob Lemon taking a dump in importance.
