how are we in fourth with a 5-2 record?  shouldn't that put us in first?

The rankings right now mean nothing because we've obviously played an uneven amount of games.  Based on this "ranking" technique, a team who is 1-0 (1.00) would be ranked higher than a team that is 15-1 (0.9375).  MLB and football have midseason rankings based on # of wins.  We'll just have to continue to watch the standings unfold as the season progresses.  Hopefully we can keep it up for a good second half of the year.
