could be a good run stopper at 300lbs

Quickness and foot speed were big reasons why St. Petersburg's 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive tackle Lawon Scott drew tons of interest and will sign Wednesday with Ole Miss.

Just watched his film and he doesnt look like he would really fit our scheme. The DT position in our scheme requires better athleticism than what he showed in the film.  Also for being 305lbs he didnt really get any penetration against the run and got pushed around a bit.  Just seems to be a very big kid who wont be successful at the next level unless he gets alot stronger at the point of attack and can hold his gaps.
