I know this is a bigger win than Georgetown last year, but just how big is this win? Is it the biggest win in the Coach Mac era?

He's had a few big wins...unlike our previous coach who was defeated today by BC.

Way bigger than the win against Georgetown.  

This win with a few more very possible wins gets us into the BE tourney.  That win vs georgetown did nothing for us.

it depends on what happens next.

go to msg, win a few games

go to nit then this was the turning point.

do not go to msg and this was just another bump like georgtown last year

this is certainly the biggest, as it has the most potential to affect our future.

The Cincy win in CUSA tourney was big, as was the Charlotte win just before that same tourney.  The georgetown was big because it broke the ice... could you imagine if we lost and went into season 2 in the big east on a 16 game conference losing streak?   That at least made the previous year's streak end and gave us a clean slate.

But this ND game could be the beginning of a positive trend for USF basketball.  Something we haven't had in a while.

either way, yes, this is the biggest win for Coach Mac.
