FYI guys: Matthis' block was No. 3 on the Top Plays on ESPNews. Haven't seen what SportsCenter thinks yet though.

one thing i wish CRM would take from the Seth era is when Seth had Jimmy Baxter he would run that halfcourt trap and force teams to pass over Baxter.  Mattis is just as athletic as Baxter but has longer arms.  It would be hard for a team to get the ball over Mattis and still manage it to land inbounds.  however, only problem with that...to make the halfcourt trap work you need guards with some good footspeed.  that is what we are missing right now.  hopefully howard helps with that.

There was an FSU fan behind us that knew nothing of our team... he was raving about mattis... saying if he put on some weight, he'd be all world.  Every time Mattis made a block... he would yell... #15 rules... that #15.. I really like him..

so he was either gay, or he really thought Mattis was a good player.

Apparently he knew nothing about the game but liked the flashy moments, else he would've said he's got no left hand and can't put the rock on the floor.
