Grothe avoiding Pittsburgh's blitz2. Fake punts3. Grothe pass to Randolph in WV game Your best fan experience or your point of pride as a fan: I had a couple. The win over UCF, and the comeback victory vs FIU...the place went nuts (those who actualy stayed) Games that you attended: FIU, UCF, Uconn, Pitt, Syracuse (5-0) Your take on next year:

Guest BasketBull.
Team MVP:GrotheHeart of the defense: Stephen Nicholas & Trae WilliamsHeart of the offense: GrotheYour letter grade for the season and why: (Grade:A)  The team got better each week. The same team that almost lost to FIU beat #7 WVU at their home, which says a lot about the talent and the coaching. 3 Best plays from the season: 1) Grothe's wild non-sac play. 2) Ean's run backs in the early games. 3) Alvarado's 56-yard kickYour best fan experience or your point of pride as a fan: Coming into the WVU, USF was just an afterthought to all the WVU's BE title talk. But afterwards, USF got much-deserved national attention and WVU talk disappeared completely.Games that you attended: FIU, Rutgers, and Syracuse.Your take on next year: With almost the entire team coming back, I look for USF to crack the top 25 at some point next year, in addition to competing for the BE title. But how about 15 plays, 71 yards, 7:23 off the clock at Chapel Hill. Only a FG, but one of the best drives you'll see all year. Give you a lot of confidence in the future. Your best fan experience or your point of pride as a fan: 2 years in the Big East, 2 bowls. Games that you attended: Rutgers, UNC and expect to be in B'ham Your take on next year: Pay Cincy back, WVU & UL @ RayJay on TV (please) Grothe breaks UL's all-conference QB streak, 9-10 wins

Heart of the defense: The Linebackers. Heart of the offense: Grothe. Your letter grade for the season and why: B. I knew we'd drop one of KU/UNC and get one of UL/WV. Didn't see the Cincy loss coming though. It'll improve to an A if we win the bowl game. A 9-4 USF team in the Big East in it's 10th year is great. 3 Best plays from the season: 1. Grothe's loop around the defender against Pitt. (Missing the sack was also an awesome play!) 2. Alvarado's 56 yd FG. 3. Teachey's fake punts. Your best fan experience or your point of pride as a fan: Getting to so many games this year. And bring so many to UCF. Also the WV win - got us so much press and votes in the polls. Games that you attended: All 6 home games, plus UCF, UNC and UL. Will also make the bowl game. Not bad for a broke college student. Your take on next year: After such excitement at the end of this year I'm expecting big things next year. BIG things like getting ranked and knocking more ranked teams off.
