yep...that 7% sales tax as opposed to state sales tax of 6%

Actually you are a little wrong.

Hillsborough County has a 1/2 penny local option sales tax to fund health care for the indigent.

The second 1/2 cent is the Community Investment Tax which provides money for schools, police and fire, sidewalks and neighborhood needs, and debt service for Raymond James.

Also, Hienz Field was built by a sales tax collected in several counties around Pittsburgh, not just one county.  It was proposed and passed for both teams.

The Bulls had just started their football program and didn't have a single football player when the CIT tax was proposed (they started practicing that fall).

When Pitt plays at Heinz field, their colors are on the field not those of the Steelers. It does say Pittsburgh but in Blue and Gold.  Says Steelers when they play there.  This says much more for the ownersip of the steelers than of the bucs.
