The article makes a good point about FG's. With all the trouble we've had with special teams this year, why not try him out on FG attempts? He can't be any worse than what we've got now, though I do believe that Benzer & Alvarado both have solid legs. Maybe Teachey's composure on the field (as proved against Pitt last week) is just what we need to get the kicking game straightened out.

alot of kicking is in the head.  strong leg doen't equate to field goals.  wouldn't be suprised to see him on field goals this week after another bad kicking game against Pitt.

I think we should give GrothE a shot at field goals.  Only in a game where he gives a pooch punt.

But, seriously I see no reason why he doesn't do FGs.  There must be some reason, but they should give him a shot.
