work night, not school night, graduated in 01.

its probably best to look at the standings on a weekly bases, instead of nightly... this is going to be back and forth, more than likely, for a while, until the sox get Nomar and Trot back, then watch out.

I see the yanks picked up Tanyon sturtze, could be a decent 5th guy, or a bomb.  tbd.

Current Yanks 5th starter hasn't won a start in over FIVE years.  Meanwhile, Bronson Arroyo (Sox 5th starter) pitches a gem the other day.

Yanks need pitching bad.  Sturtze is a dog and is NOT the answer.  George is starting to panic.

Smazz... i didn't see you posting when the bosox won and yanks got blown out the other day and redsox reclaimed first... you only post when the yankees do something good.  

Everygame is big, but the fact that the redsox are in and out of first every other day without their best players playing yet is bad news for the yanks.  We don't have to post about the standings every day for the team to take each game seriously... we are just the fans... we have no bearing on the outcome of any game, so in that respect, it doesn't matter.  In a 7 month season, its best to go week by week than day by day.

Bosox dont have to win the division to go to WS.  They need to make the playoffs and then take care of biz.  The AL pennant goes through NY and that is fine by me as I want sox to win series after beating yanks to get there.
