Guest BasketBull. Ponton? Randolph? Amarri Jackson? Johnson? S.J.? The linebackers? Our speedy corners? Julmiste or Buie? Somebody else?I fully EXPECT a big show! The football team owes us fans a great effort -and a VICTORY!

Other than Grothe no one has really stepped up to be counted on to take the game and make it his own. In the Pitt game, UL and WVU, someone needs to have a game like Amarri did against UL last year. So far, except Randolph against FIU and Mcneese) everytone else's effort has been workman like. Adquate, but nothing special. We need a gamebreaker and playmaker to emerge. We need some big playmakers to emerge. Someone needs to come up big during a big time game. We don't have a play that has gone for more than 35 yeards since the UCF game. One difference I see between USF and the other teams is someone on the other teams always seems to step up and make something happen when it is needed. Not just against Mcneese, UCF or FIU, but we need someone to step up against a good team in a big game with something on the line. Taurus Johnson was trying to make something happen against UC when he got drilled and fumbled. He made it happen vs. FIU when he had to. I look to him right now as the closest thing to a playmaker. How many times did Douglas or Uruttia come up big for UL last night? Even though they lost, how many big plays did White make when Slaton was out? How many big plays did Slaton make? Reynaud? Right now that's one missing ingredient. We need to get over the hump of being able to win a big game on a big stage not run and hide like we usually do during the must win games. Sorry to say it, but we lack character. Time to change that.
