On Tuesday in the PM Steve "dead air" Dumig was reporting that the next UMiami coach would be Butch Davis. He said that the offer was made and Davis is now considering it. FWIW.......

well on Wednesday 11-01-06 "dead air" is now reporting that he has a friend on the inside that knows that Butch Davis is the leader for the Michigan State job. Another day and another 'throw it aganist the wall" report from another friend that he cannot name by "Dead Air". Dang I wish we had a rel afternoon sports talk drive home radio host. Scott Brantly is on 1430 but if you are more than two blocks from the station you cannot hear him. whatever.......
