Isn't there a rule against current student athletes being used in ads?

They are on ads and promos all the time ... they can not be paid is the only rule.

Not only can the athletes not be paid, but nobody is allowed to make money of their names. This is why video games are not allowed to include players' names. It's a rule designed to prevent the exploitation of young athletes.

I'm not sure how a commercial would fall under that, though I'm pretty sure commercials generally advertising big games include names. I've never paid much attention.
