RB Williams

B. Williams has been my favorite back of all the walk-ons we've had so far.  I hope he continues to get carries when Ponton comes back.  His style is more aggressive than the other backs we have, and he has a way of squirting out of tackles once he gets some momentum.

I also like his burst ...

Okay ... now with the starting spot ... did I say most carries ?

I still think that Ponton will be leading rusher for the season.

Um, ET.  Williams already has six more starts than he deserved to have his whole college career.

22 Carries for 108 Yards and a 4.9 Avg. Game 6

55 Carries for 244 Yards and a 4.4 Avg. TOTAL

Not sure what your point is, ET.  But Rhode Island averaged 4 yards a carry against UConn.

Fine ... I am just saying that Williams has done MORE this season than Ponton and DESERVES the start.

I still KNOW that Ponton is the better back and WILL get more yards.

I agree with ET on this one.  Ponton still deserves a kick in the ass,  let him start then Ponton can take over.

Six game suspension is a more severe penalty than he would get anywhere else, including the NFL. He's more than paid for his transgressons.  Either kick him off the team or let him play.  If he plays, he has to start, he's light years ahead of Williams. To not start him continues to punish the rest of the team.
