Calling these people wrestlers is a joke. They are entertainers, not wrestlers (with the exception of a few, like Olympic Champ Kurt Angle).

Calling the devil rays baseball players has been a lark since they entered play too... ;D

I agree, dusty definitely wasn't doing steroids, or at least wasn't doing them properly.

not a shred of evidence that these deaths were from steroids.

how about overweight, out of shape, hard living.

Those would have been possible reasons if Dusty had died but I think very few of today's wrestilers are overweight or out of shape ............... hard living, maybe.

there are loads of evidence that links these deaths to steroids, plus common sense links them.  I'm not a judge so i don't even need hard facts... common sense is easily enough evidence.

From WebMD:

http://my.webmd.com/content/article/17/1676_50919.htm?lastselectedguid={5FE84E90-BC77-4056-A91C-9531713CA348}

"Steroids are also widely used -- and abused -- by amateur and professional weightlifters and other athletes to give them an unfair advantage (which is why they are banned in international sports on both the amateur and professional levels). But the "advantage" often comes with a shockingly high price tag: In men, excessive steroid use can cause impotence, and it can also encourage the growth of cancer of the prostate. "

Sorry... those too.  I was replying to a quote made in Smazza's "let the players take steroids" thread that said:

until I see tests that demonstrate steroids are harmful to athletes I see no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to take them.

there are far more injuries to football players and other athletes than  injuries from steroid use

If that's not enough proof in itself, I don't know what is.

please look at any drug with their side effects

there has been no study to link steriods with those alleged diseases.

steroids are prescribed all the time by doctors.

football players careers are cut short far more

by injuries  of the game than steroid use

this latest hullaballo is more hype, unsupported by medical evidence.

the anti steroid people are the same people that said pot  will kill you.

the same crowd.

allow athletes to take steroids under a doctor's care.

the risk to injury to boxers.skiers and football players are 100 times greater than someone taking steroids.

you guys sound hysterical over steroid use.

funny, no body complains because teams take advantage of better equipment and money to  win such as US oympics.People look at things differently I guess.

I see most of  you all believe the  common misconceptions.

steroids only work with hard work in the weight room.

steroids doesn't help bonds(assuming he took them) one bit if he didn't have talent  and work his  butt off

in weight room.

you fellas don't blink an eye when athletes train at hig altitude to increase their hemoglobin levels.
