perhaps an even better question: why would a site that supports USF publish such an image? Especially now when CJL is under such scrutiny?

Using your logic the only stories you'd ever read about USF Football would involve puppies and kittens.

Just because he isnt smiling doesnt mean it shouldnt be reported.

I am not talking about a story.....but unflattering images. What other point is there to publishing such an image other to make derisive comments?

he has undying passion for his team.  that's something that should never be doubted.  the refs had some bad calls, his team had some stupid mistakes.  he needed to be mad then.  why do we want him to be nonchalant about those kinds of things?

Steve Spurrier syndrome is why.  The media loves when coaches do things like Spurrier's visor chucking while at UF and will show stuff like that at any given oppertunity.  It does make your coach look out of control and immature when they are caught doing things of the like.  Add that in with Levitts pretty much nonexistant skills in dealing with the media and you will have a hated coach.

the spurrier picture  is a reaction in a game

this leavitt picture looks like he is taking a crap in his pants

for instance a classic  leavitt picture would be him arguing with a ref or running the sidelines

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
