I love the guy, hell I termed him "The Jim" because there was no Jim better in the history of the world. He has done amazing things at USF and I hope that he stays here as long as he wants.

Having said that I have to say that there is something different about him this year. He is defensive and not the kind of defense that made him rich and famous. He is edgy and to me it seems that there is something really wrong. It may be with the program or with him personally but I am afraid somethng is going to break.

I hope everythings alright, hell it could just be that he has lost some control since DW was hired and he is uncomfortable with that loss and is looking to exert more control over other areas. Hell it could be that he is angry with the way this young team is developing, or he is mad at himself for going with PJ these last few years. In any event, I just wouldn't be surprised if something HUGE happens this year.

We're not even talking about the "one freaking game" here, dude.  We're talking about Spring practice, summer drills, and fall camp.  We're talking many, many weeks of this charade from Leavitt.

I don't know about you guys, but seeing all those signs STILL on the roadways after the election (especially for the ones I voted against  :'() just drive me nuts!!! I want to run my car over them every time I see one.

Leavitt seemed to be in a very good mood last night on his call in radio show. He was joking around and laughing just like the Leavitt that we know. I think what you are reading into is this crap from the media. Leavitt pissed off the media because he is pissed off at them. Leavitt is not mad at the fans. In fact, Leavitt went out of his way to give the students props about the nice showing they had at McNeese St. He alway mentioned on how well attended the Round Up was at the SUNDOME last week. He praised the Beef Studs for their school spirit, and said that is what college football is all about. So, please dont believe the hype coming from this media circus just because they are pissed off at Leavitt because he is not giving them good stuff to write about.

Just speculation on my part but I think he is pissed at the media for breaking the Ponton, Chambers and Josh Julmiste story when he was trying to deal with it in house
