Florida Football Facts and Figures

105 of the 117 Division I-A programs had at least one Floridian on their rosters last season. The 12 that did not: Arizona State, Boise State, California, Colorado, Fresno State, Idaho, Louisiana Tech, Texas, TCU, Texas A&M, UNLV and Utah.

26 schools had at least 10 Floridians on their roster. Outside of the state's five I-A programs, Troy State, with 28, had the most, followed by NC State (27), Louisville and Rutgers (26 each) and Georgia Tech (18 ). The others: Navy (17), Connecticut (16), East Carolina (16), Wake Forest (16), Auburn (15), Southern Miss (15), Army (13), Clemson (13), Marshall (12), LSU (11), North Carolina (11), Cincinnati (10), Michigan State (10), Pittsburgh (11), Tulane (10) and West Virginia (10).

Floridians at out-of-state schools with legit chances to be all-conference performers this season:

Bowling Green: WR Charles Sharon (Palatka).

Cincinnati: LB Jamar Enzor (Havana Northside).

Clemson: SS Jamaal Fudge (Jacksonville White).

East Carolina: P Ryan Dougherty (Boone).

Georgia: OT Max Jean-Gilles (North Miami Beach).

Georgia Tech: CB Kenny Scott (Seabreeze).

Iowa: LB Abdul Hodge (Lauderdale Lakes Boyd Anderson).

Louisville: TB Lionel Gates (Jacksonville Parker), WR J.R. Russell (Tampa Gaither).

Marshall: G Toby Bullock (Jacksonville Englewood), DE Jonathan Goddard (Jacksonville White).

Maryland: LB D'Qwell Jackson (St. Pete Seminole).

Michigan: G David Baas (Sarasota Riverview).

Nebraska: CB Fabian Washington (Bradenton Bayshore).

NC State: WR Tramain Hall (Deerfield Beach), SS Andre Maddox (Miami Killian), OLB Pat Thomas (Miami Killian).

Ohio State: WR Santonio Holmes (Belle Glade Glades Central), FS Nate Salley (Fort Lauderdale Aquinas).

Oklahoma: G Davin Joseph (Hallandale).

San Diego State: DT Jonathan Bailes (Tampa Jefferson).

West Virginia: TB Kay-Jay Harris (Tampa Bay Tech).
