no

Timberwolves backup point guard Troy Hudson will have ankle surgery and miss the playoffs.

Hudson was nagged by the injury most of the season and appeared in only 29 games, averaging 7.5 points and 2.4 assists.

Minnesota clinched the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference by beating Memphis on Wednesday night. The Timberwolves open their first-round series against Denver on Sunday.

A resounding YES!... they will destroy Denver.

Hudson isn't a critical part of the team... he's a good player off the bench, but they've got more than enough weapons to beat Denver.

Garnett - all world

Sprewell - if not for garnett, he'd be the star of the team, he'd be the star on many teams.

Cassell - Mr. clutch

Szerbiak - playing better lately, about back to form.

Denver has alot of youth... they'll come out with nothing to lose, but Minnesota is loaded with veterans.  There is a reason they are the #1 seed, they earned it, more than the lakers, sacremento, san antonio, dallas, everyone.

Denver is too young... Minnesota is loaded with veterans... my prediction wasn't that difficult... i don't deserve much credit.

Game one... garnett goes for 30 pts and 20 rebs, 4 assists, 2 blocks while cassell goes for 40 pts

game two... garnett goes for 20 pts, 22 rebs, 10 assists, 3 blocks

while Sprewell goes off for 31 pts on 7-8 from 3 pt range

This team is tough!

they are up 2-0 on Denver... you really think a youthful team is gonna come back from a 2-0 deficit against KG, Spre, SamIAm, and co?   Ain't gonna happen!  They are too dynamic.  Trenton Hassel shut down Carmelo... and Voshon lenard was on fire and they still couldn't keep up.  Nope, denver is toast, they might as well not even play the next two  ;) ;)

who are they lined up with...  should be the #3 seed, so San Antonio?  that could get ugly.
