Guest Sprtsfn627
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/2006-04-12-houston-bowl_x.htm1. The Houston Bowl (which will be a Big East bowl next year) has still not payed the participating teams. It doesn't sound good financially for them, which could leave the Big East with only 3 bowls.2. But, there is good news (I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance...). No, seriously, there are two bowls that the Big East could add to their rotation if they are certified: The Toronto Bowl and The Birmingham Bowl. Sounds like the vote is next week, so keep your fingers crossed!

They didn't improve their stadium and now part of it is being condemned. I'd be shocked if this bowl is approved without the upper decks of Legion Field getting fixed. As for the Houston Bowl, they will pay out, who knows what is going on there. The Big East just needs to get their act together regarding Bowl Appearances. We have a great game in the BCS. Then we have a limited deal with the Gator Bowl, or fall back bowl is the Sun Bowl in El Paso...(if Gator chooses not to take a Big East team) The MCC Bowl is nice, but they payout the minimum, I would love to see that go up. The Insight Bowl is in Phoenix...great we know Sherrif and Bulliever will be there.
