The University of Louisville picked up another south Florida commitment Monday, this time from ... well, South Florida. Hector Hernandez, a 6-foot-4, 255-pound lineman from Naples High School has switched his commitment from USF to Louisville according to Naples High coach Bill Kramer in a report with the Naples News.

"He was so much happier there," Kramer told the Naples News. "He really felt like he connected with the players there, and that didn't happen on other visits. The offense is prolific and the schedule's tough. And he's in the BCS, so that's good."

Hernandez was the seventh fastest lineman in the 40-yard dash at the Miami NIKE Training Camp and was among the top 10 finishers in shuttle speed, bench press and vertical leap.

"His work ethic and commitment are unparalleled," Kramer said of Hernandez.

Hernandez put up 23 reps on the 185-pound bench press, and was tied for the top shuttle speed at the camp. A two-star prospect, Hernandez also had offers from South Florida, Temple, Central Michigan with interest from others.

he didn't have a choice....although atleast he got an offer there. I would kill myself if I had to play football at Temple.

He is a project at best. He has to put on 30 to 40lbs to play.
