I'm disgusted that we are building a new stadium. The house that ruth built should not be torn down.....

wrigley is a dump but a great place for a baseball game.

Went to Wrigley this summer when I was visiting some friends in Chicago. There were 8 of us and we sat 2nd row in the bleachers. Great time. Bar NONE - best baseball atmosphere I've been in.

It is a total shame.... add on to the old one (is that even possible?)  but tearing it down is a total crime.

I didn't go to Fenway for the crappers....I went to Fenway because was and is a baseball icon. I am not a Red Sox fan, but I wanted to experiance Fenway.

Nobody that reads this can say they dont like the smell of old beer and peanuts that you get at those old stadiums. It isnt just Fenway either, that smell was at the Big Sombrero, it was at Freedom Hall in Louisville. ****, it was even at the Superdome, pre-Katrina. I don't really want to know what it smells like now though..Yuck.

Bouncer thats how all old wood and concrete stadiums smell like, they just pressure wash everything not kept up nice like most stadiums today.

My favorite venues I have been to:

1) Wrigley

2) The Swamp (if you have never been go for one game, loudest venue I have ever been to during the 1997 UF/FSU game)

3) The Orange Bowl (Biggest Dump, great place to see a game, crowd is different, but ya know)

4) Old Pitt Stadium (Shame they tore that down)

5) Vaught-Hemmingway (Ole Miss...best tailgate ever)

6) Joe Louis Arena (Went to one Red Wings game and it was GREAT, minus the 8 dollar beer)

7) ND Stadium

I've been to the majority college football venues, they are my fav.

I am going to Fenway this summer and plan on going to Dodger stadium during a meeting this spring.

Places I wanna go:

Fenway

Lambeau

Tennessee

Cameron Indoor

to name a few...

they are doing it for the luxury boxes.....it will actualy hold 50k compared to 55k it holds now. However, it will generate more revenue with less seats.

I will miss being able to go to the place that i grew up going to as a child.

Wrigley is like going to a college party....wild and it gets even crazier after the game at the bars in wrigleyville. The summers in Chicago are a BLAST!
