Brighthosue 47 will air next year.  My cable bill is friggin brutal and I want to switch over to Direct-TV, but if I'm forced to miss a handful of football games next year I'll stay.  I know they signed some kind of a deal.  Anyone know?

Thanks.

I just found out this is the order the games will follow. Pretty much had a feeling this was the case, just stinks it's ranked below ESPNU. ABC has first dibs, then ESPN then ESPN2 then ESPNU, then catch 47. I was hoping it would have been bumped up over ESPNU. So there probably won't be many football games on 47, but a ton of basketball. Worth staying with Brighthouse for the BB games.  ESPNU is a pain in the ass!

ESPN-U is available on DirecTV when you get the Sports Pack.

Was there about 2 games on ESPNU last year?  If you don't mind me asking what's the sports package cost with Direct TV?

I think it's about $12 more a month.

Yeah the Louisville and Miami games were on the U this year

but both those games were also picked up locally on ABC.

if you live in the tampa area it really doesnt matter between direct TV and bright house for games.  anything that would be on espn U gets picked up locally.  anything on gameplan isnt standard on either plan

Good deal, thanks.  The big difference would be in bball games next year.  There should be a ton on 47, since no one else will pick them up.

direct tv is the way to go

why usf doesn't televise all home games is a mystery too me

no wonder tusf can't seem to draw the casual fan

had all their home games been on tv,we would have 10000 kids bugging their parent to take them to the usf games

another blown opportunity
