With averaging 28 pts, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists, I though Romi Levy would have been a lock for player of the week. However, the honor went to a Charlotte player who averaged 28 pts, 5.5 rebounds, and 5 assists. She had almost identical numbers to Levy but with 6 steals in 2 wins. Levy was named to the honor roll.

Something else about Levy. Compared to Blasigh, she is averaging 54% shooting on 2-pointers, while Blasigh is at 44%. She has made 66 2-pointers to Blasigh's 33. As I said in another post, why CJF was not giving the ball to Levy from game 1, as he has in the last few games is a mystery to me. Unlike Blasigh, who is a markswoman when having open looks but struggle to create her own shots, Levy can create her own shots.

With newcomer Amy Thompson next year, another year from Levy and Puisis, and Blasigh, we could be one of the highest scoring teams next year.

Act like you’ve been there before. Turns out, for many of us, we haven’t been there before.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
