Looks like the Bulls picked up a decent softball transfer today - 5th year senior Sam Mallinder from Northern Illinois. Three-year starter mostly at second base. The past two seasons she started 89 games, hit around .310, 8 HR, 58 RBI. Put the ball in play with just 7 strikeouts in 151 ABs last season. Pretty good glove, too . . .
