for RBs the shorter the better.  Height is a detriment for an RB unless you have him catching a ton of passes which we won't, or shouldn't anyway.  Especially if he has hands like our WRs.

Dexter can flat out play.  To me he's one of the top seven RB's in the state regardless of age or class.  He's that good, speed, great hands, quick, shifty.

Dexter played for Largo HS, anyone that knows HS football in the Bay Area knows that Largo's district, District 10 has about as much speed and talent as can be found anywhere in the state, including Miami.  District 10 is at the 5A level so Dexter was playing against the best.

All Dexter did was rush for almost 2,500 yards, 43 touchdowns, over 500 yards receiving, and had 8 kick returns as a senior!  One man told me that the school's unofficial tally had Dexter accounting for over 4,000 yards of total offense for Largo as a SENIOR!

He's got great speed, and is about the same size Andre Hall was coming out of Dixie Hollins.  I liken Dexter to a mix of Hall, Garrett Wolfe at NIU, and Terrance Jones.  He's got much more speed than Hall, and he hits the hole so fast that often few have an opportunity to prepare.

I thought Dexter was the state's leading rusher, no team could keep him in check.  If he wasn't rushing for 200 he'd catch a pass.  A great example is in the state 3rd round playoff game this year Largo played a tough, tough Brandenton Manatee squad.   Largo lost but Brandenton was bragging that they stopped Dexter.  All Dexter did was rush for 132 yards, and a td ,he caught a 64 yard bomb for a td, and he had a kick-off return for a td called back that would have cut Manatee's lead to 4 if it had stood.  That's what people consider stopping Dexter mcCluster is all about.

His coach is an older well respected HS coach that's been coaching the area for sometime.  He said this kid is the best he's ever seen, and that's saying A LOT!

I know about three or four people close to HS football that say Dexter is as good as Chris Rainey, and Lamar Thomas says he's better.

Spann is a fantastic athlete, and good LB.  He's not a project in the sense of Amarri Jackson because Spann was playing football last year, and he's always played LB or S.

Sounds like Dexter can play some ball, hope the bulls sign him. This team would be loaded at rb.

Get a decent qb and this team could be really really good in a year or two.

I saw this kid play a couple games on tv... incredible athlete... but undersized.  I think that is why he is listed as a corner... but he definitely deserves a shot at RB.

So was Andre when he was in HS
