You guys know anything about Dexter McCluster? I am listening to Duemig on 620 right now and guys are calling in touting him as one of the best RBs in the country and saying that he is strongly considering USF. Can the guys in the know fill me in? Thanks.

Someone will probably be able to pull more facts on him for you, but he's a RB from Largo who rushed for over 2,000 yds. this season I believe. Saw him play versus Seminole; this kid is going to be something special, dare I say Andre II. I believe he already verbaled, but I don't know. He's a stud for sure!

He was our first verbal.  Including the state playoffs,  he rushed for 2,400 yards and 35 touchdowns.  He also plays cornerback and is an outstanding kick returner.  I will feel more comfortable about him after he signs the letter of intent because he is that good.

I saw this kid play a couple games on tv... incredible athlete... but undersized.  I think that is why he is listed as a corner... but he definitely deserves a shot at RB.

Our recruiting class is already looking incredible.

While we are on the subject who is Robert Spann?  They said FHSAA didnt give him a chance to play but USF will in 2006?  I couldnt find anything on him in Google.  Is he going to be a project like Amarri Jackson?  Someone who was out of football but has a big upside?  Anyone know who this guy is?

if he is undersized i don't want him at corner

a 5'9'' corner is a turn off

why recruit him and play him at corner

why not recruit a corner?

he seems the same size as emmit smith

play this kid as a rb

This may help.  Here is a list of the commits.  Dexter is in there.  If you click on him you can read his bio.  I havnt updated his numbers since week 6.  However, he did rush for 2000 yards during the regular season.  I went to his final game where he got the record and added the video to the story on the left side of his bio.

He is being brought in as a RB.  They will bulk him up real nice and its unlikely he'll have to play corner.  USF likes him as a running back.
