After we destroyed them on the field, that comparison is now null and void. But are you really that stupid? We went 4-7 last year for the PRECISE reason that Leavitt played all his kids to get them the experience they'd need to go to a bowl game THIS year in the Big East, a much MUCH tougher conference than C-USA. O'Leary's been playing his kids now for two years, and they're finally in a weak enough conference where they can produce some wins. Whoopee!Don't forget also that C-USA's strongest programs left to go to the BE. We had to play UL, Cincy (when they were loaded with seniors) every year. UCF had to play Rice.Give me a break, Cee. You're like my little brother. You see what you want to see and you hear what you want to hear, and you get stuck in your own little version of "reality" that you refuse to come out of.Yeah, not going to the Sugar Bowl sucked, but losing CJL because you're on the rag would be 1000x worse. Rod Smith is our offensive coordinator because he's who we can AFFORD.  Until you start ponying up some big time donation cash, Cee, you have zero authority to tell anyone who to fire and hire.  You want to help USF football?  Open your pockets and shut your mouth.Pretty harsh and totally uncouth! Did they not?It was a genius decision to hold them back. This year's defense needed the leadership, and it proved to be the right decision. This year's was full of it. The defense is not as good, talent wise, as it is mentally.
