UCF basketball is off to a good start (3-0) but has not played a quality opponant yet.

Florida looks as strong as last year, if not better, despite the loss of key players like Roberson and Walsh.

Saturday's game will be a measuring stick.  With Memphis, UAB, UTEP and Houston in the conference instead of Garnder-Webb, Mercer and Belmont, UCF will benefit from this mix of cupcakes and Top 25 teams in the non-conference slate.

Still to come for UCF: Kentucky and a possible meeting with Arizona in the Fiesta Bowl Classic in Tempe.

UCF has a game this Tuesday against Bethune-Cookman where Kirk Speraw will continue expiramenting with rotations before going to Gainesville.

Also: The crowd in Gainesville will not look like an in-state game as most UCF fans will be at the Florida Citrus Bowl to cheer on UCF in the inaugural Conference USA Championship Game presented by X-Box 360 and Gator Fans will be in Gainesville while Geogia takes on LSU in the SEC Championship.

Most likely, but stranger things have happened.  As I said, a measuring stick.  They are probably better than every C-USA team sans Memphis.

If we stay within 10 to 15 points we will be doing good.  defense will have to be real tough for us to have any shot.
