Ouch, that's gonna hurt your passing game.  Your opposing teams are going to double team Marshall, and drive down the number of receptions.  I'm sure you have other receivers, but anyone that doesn't think it's gonna hurt is looking through some seriously colored glasses.

I believe Mike Walker is in the Top Five of any of the wide receivers of any of the universities in Florida this year.  He rarely drops a pass, runs great routes, and has good speed, strength, and size.

Of course it's going to hurt production.

I just feel bad for the kid, he plays his butt off all year and then to get injured because of the playing surface, not even in the play, that just flat out sucks.

True freshman Rocky Ross and Juco- All American Kenny Jackson will fill in.....but will not fill Wakers shoes......

It's a huge hit to the offense for sure.  It'll be interesting to see how O'Leary adjusts.  I expect the RB's to get a lot of carries.  It'll be tough for the freshmen receivers to make up for Walker's loss.  He's been a HUGE key to UCF's success this season, no doubt.

I also expect B. Marshall to get double teamed, too.

We need Rocky Ross to step up, but you can't replace a Mike Walker type of talent, especially mid-season.  I think that we could see more passes directed towards our RB's and a heavy dose of looks at the TE.
