Boy, it's a good thing Doug Woolard has so many of us around to do his job for him.  Fortunately, he has an unlimited set of financial resources available to him to pay for all of these things...

Well Fan, i wrote the third one and the fact that UCF is getting more votes than us on the coaches and AP Poll tells me that some of those voters need to be reminded that we beat them handily and who we have played.

The facts are that USF is a newbie and as proven by all the writers bashing us for having a shot at a BCS Bowl tells me that they have no clue on who weve played.

Hopefully our SID is doing his part by making sure these people get some facts. It doesnt take a hell of money to put out some letters with these info. Schools do it for their Heisman hopefuls.

Now is he doing it or not,i have no clue because its not my job but i hope he is.

We are not Miami,USC or Florida were most of these people have an idea of who they are and what their accomplishments have been.

Let me say this about our SID, whenever I emailed him - he's always been quick to reply.

I've seen "typos" on Game Notes and he's replied back and corrected.

These are little things a "nobody" asks for.

I know for a fact that he "attacks" espn in STAMPEDE fashion to let them know about USF and other facts.

Do schools actually lobby for votes in polls like that? You may do more harm than good ....

And UCF got votes because they were the worst team in 1-A last year and have a tragic figure for a head coach ...... I'd rather earn votes on the field rather than through sympathy. We win the votes will be there

USF has alot going on lately.

(Men's Basketball starting)

(Women's Basketball starting)

(Men's Soccer)

(Men's Football)

And hasn't time to lobby for votes that won't change a thing in the bowl picture.

The crew in the Athletic office is underpaid for the amount of hours they put in.

Many of them work 12 hours a day.

Lobbying for votes is cheap. It can all work when the season is done.

UCF is getting votes because their coach's name is well-known.

Votes aren't going to make a bit of difference in how this season turns out...bowls are more interested in fan support and how many fans will travel to the game.

We control our own destiny. We have a shot at the BCS, something UCF and their well-known coach cannot say.
