It's been a good week for UCF so far:

1) Became Bowl Eligible again for the first time since 2002.

2) Received BOT approval to proceed with the 45,000 on-campus stadium

3) New UCF Arena/Convocation Construction continues to go smoothly and on-time

4) ESPN GameDay will have some kind words on UCF/GOL this Saturday AM

5) More and more out-of-town pub for UCF (not including national radio interviews, etc...)

In a wierd way, I am glad we were the only ones last year.  I think that gives a bit more notoriety now.

I'd expect GOL to win some honors this year, going from winless to bowl eligibility in one year...

UCF has to win some sort of comeback team of the year... if they don't i don't know who would win it... ND? eh.. Alabama, eh.  The only reason some other team wins it is the whole history/rep issue.

Penn St is probably the only other comeback team i could see beating out UCF, since they could end up a 1 second fg from a national title after being down and out
