Bowls really don't like regular season re-matches.

They are in the drivers seat for the ACC title game, and they will face FSU, and they will beat FSU. So, they will be going to the BCS game. Gator most likely will see VaTech. Your analysis is logical and probably accurate (no real way to know until Dec 4th).With Miami beating VaTech, they get the chance to rematch FSU -- whom they will destroy -- in Jacksonville on Dec 3rd. That means the #3 team from the ACC -- Va Tech -- will get the Gator Bowl invite (because the ACC doesn't think FSU would want to play two-straight games at Alltell stadium.USF vs Va Tech in the Gator Bowl would be a HUGE game. USF fans would travel well to Jacksonville -- it's a 3 1/2 hour drive -- and I would expect at least 20-30 thousand Bulls fans there.Still, I will be rooting for USF to win out and get a trip to the relocated Sugar Bowl in Atlanta against Alabama for a big South Florida Flip. We barely get that many for a home game. I would say at most 5K, but I would be one of them.

Thoughts?1-3 makes the Bulls ineligible.2-2 Bulls are bowl eligible and depending on how ND fares the rest of the season - and Pitt, U Conn or Cincy - there will only be 4 bowl eligible BE teams for 4 bowls so the Bulls will go bowling.Pitt has to play U Conn and WVU and needs two wins - not gonna happen.Cincy has WVU, USF and Rutgers left to play and needs to win 2 games - again . . . not gonna happenU Conn has Pitt, USF and UL left and needs two games to be bowl eligible too - not gonna happen. That leaves WVU, UL, Rutgers and USF for the bowl teams for the BE.First things first - BEAT SYRACUSE!
